I didnt like the politics cruise was pushing but he had a good performance(i guess he played the bad guy?) compared with Redford, I wanted to see both of them together on screen but oh well...

Yeah, he was totally the bad guy. It would have been great to have them on together. the film gets you to think though, which is what I liked about it.
