sxsw was loads of fun, music and rain fell all around like soft kisses from former sweet lovers,and we may have some more really good news shortly! (but we don't want to get our hopes up, so now we are working on restraint, which is very difficult with the amount of collective A.D.D. that exists in this band.)...for now we're jumping up and down like a bunch of girl scouts after a giant bake sale!

we'll be in ft. worth to play w/starlight mints, then we're heading up to new york to play piano's with our friends bishop allen for possibly two nights (but not in a row, because we would get very sleepy), and then we'll come back home and bake cookies from preforated refirigerated squareshaped nestle packages, then will start work on the next record. please, please, please,check out the new video for our song "drinkin' on the job" on the front page when you get a chance and tell us what morons we look like on film. it's very wes anderson-y...which i guess makes sense because he and the wilson's grew up a few blocks from here. on an interesting WA side note, more than one of our close friends regularly got their semi-pubescent asses beaten up at a semi-illustrious private school on the east side of town by owen wilson growing up, and now it pains them to see his success...ahhhh, lifes sweet irony...
