Garrrrghrumph to all you freewheelin' hammerjacks and shortstrokers!  Remember when Labor Day was all about that retarded clown Jerry Lewis and his Quixote-like battle against Multiple Sclerosis?  Then, a little later on in life, the day of Labor became a 3-day weekend signaling the end of summer, and the end of fingering preteeners on the berry bus after a hard day of picking fruit for godknows what purpose.  Remember that?  Me too.

Perhaps for you fellow northwesterners, Labor Day has become that chance to get into the big city and mingle with 1.8 million of your closest friends in the likeminded pursuit of shitty bands and long beer lines at the colossal clusterfuck known as Bumbershoot.  As much fun as that sounds, I'll be skipping it this year.  The good news, for you, is this:

You can catch Mico De Noche ripping it up twice this week and still have Saturday - Monday for whatever else you'd like to accomplish.  Admittedly, anything else will pale in comparison following our raging sets on Thurs & Fri., so you'll probably want to just chill out around the house and watch some movies for the rest of the weekend.  Update your Netflix queue now!!

Anyway- like I mentioned, we're playing this Thurs & Fri. (8/28, 8/29) and you should really come out and witness the magic.

Thursday: at the Top Of Tacoma with Lozen and Megazilla.  This should be a blast- I haven't yet been to Top Of Tacoma, but hear it's a cool place.

Friday: at The Bit in Ballard with Lozen and Megazilla again... PLUS- the added bonus of BACCHUS.

I could go on and on about how great all these bands are and just how much this 2 day span is going to rock- but I really should get to work.  So just trust me on this one, ok?  If you like heavy music and good times- these shows are how you want to start your weekend.  If you don't like heavy music and good times... I have no idea why you'd be reading this so, go away.  We straight?  Cooool.
