Solas played live and taped performances on "A Prairie Home Companion" and " Mountain Stage" radio shows this past weekend. It is rare that a band finishes a tour with its two last gigs being the biggest folk radio shows in the country.(and the fact that they were back to back performances is a real feat) Promoting the new album "For Love and Laughter" on these very prestigious shows was a real pleasure. After a 6 week tour in the United States the band heads off to Ireland, England and Scotland on the 23rd of October. Please check your local listings to make sure you catch the band on "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor (which went out live on Oct. 11 and is still airing) and also on "Mountain Stage" to be aired in November.
