Just a little band update. People have asked what's been going on... well... our 3rd album is almost done, I swear!
In the meantime, I decided to take a major trip of sorts, one I've always felt I had to make, a journey I always had to take... and I have recently gone off to India. The decision was made partly because, well, the opportunity arose and as I said, I've always felt I needed to go explore the East. And the other part is just being absolutely burned out on my hometown of Los Angeles. And it's just far too easy to let life stagnate, become a complainer, and turn bitter. So, anyway, I am currently in Kolkata (Calcutta), India.
What does this mean as far as the band is concerned? Not much. I've devoted the last 5 years to this project and I'm sure it will continue in some form at some point. No beginning, no end. Our new album is currently being mixed right now by a great [Grammy Award winning] producer and it will be released... when it's finished. Hopefully before 2009 comes to a close but I can't make promises.
Anyway, that's the honest bunk from me for now. If you wish to follow me on my journey, I'll be blogging it here...
