The sexiest president in the history of the world won the Nobel Peace Prize today. And I am so excited!! I would have never guessed that this would happen so soon, if at all. And I am even more stunned by my own reaction. I know that the milestone and victory in President Obama’s life is a reflection of mine as well as yours.

As I danced with joy in the kitchen, I couldn’t help but see the bigger picture. I realized that no matter what Obama has done or sacrificed in favor of building and reorganizing this country he will never be valued for who he truly is. This reminds me that no matter what, we must each forge ahead on our individual paths making the contributions we pledged to make in this journey called life. It reminds me of the saying “You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.” So the only pathway is that of self-acceptance because through self-acceptance and recognition you can please yourself all of the time. And through the acceptance of your sexual nature you are em-powered to create more!
