The New Enemy, has donated a variety of clothing, CDs, musical instruments, and electronics, to local organization Touchstone Youth Centre this holiday season, with additional support generously provided by The Little Millionaires, Atticus Clothing, Sony/BMG Music, and Underground Operations.
The New Enemy's singer, Clint McLean, said 'It's band merch to us, but it's warm, clean clothing to a homeless kid. This time of year, that can't be underestimated. And hopefully the CDs and instruments get them excited about music, and the outlet and escape it can provide.' Management at Touchstone has reported that a music program will be started with the instruments and CDs.
Touchstone Youth Centre has been in operation for over 17 years, supplying emergency shelter and support to Toronto's homeless and at-risk youth. By offering opportunities to develop social and life skills, Touchstone supports youth as they work toward achieving independence and integration into society.
