Our pastor really challenged us at church tonight.  He warned us ahead of time that his message may seem somewhat harsh.  But I like it when he is blunt and to the point like that, so I don't mind a tough word.  His point was "Are you doing EVERYTHING that you can for God?"  Do you tithe and give offering faithfully?  Are you active in the ministry He is calling you to (whether it be teaching or scrubbing the toilets)?  Are you wittnessing to the lost?  Are you discipling those that you win to the Lord?  Are you studying God's Word daily?  Are you faithful in your prayer life?  Are you listening to the voice of Jesus during your prayer time? 

Tonight I find myself searching my heart and soul looking for the places that I have become lax.  I'm seeking the face of the Lord and asking Him to show me what areas need "tweaked" and what areas need a complete overhaul.  It's my desire to please my Lord, Jesus Christ.  My spirit longs to hear the words, "Well done, my good and faithfull servant."
