Current mood:  busy
.. .... "The Cure For Procrastination The only cure for procrastination is action. Go beyond wishing, dreaming, considering, debating the options and get busy making it happen. Yes, it's going to be a little uncomfortable, it's going to involve effort, it's going to require commitment, and you're going to run into difficult challenges. So ask yourself -- do you intend to make it happen or would you rather put it off again and again so that it never gets done? What gets done is what gets done now. In a little while, in a couple of weeks, in a few years, when you get around to it -- these "someday" never do come. It's helpful to substitute the word "never" for someday, for that will force you to confront the issue. Give yourself the choice between doing it now or doing it never, and you'll be much more likely to do it now, if it's truly important to you. This moment right now is loaded with great value. You can choose to take action, and make that value your own, or you can choose to do nothing and forever leave this moment's bountiful treasure behind. Decide to accept the tremendous opportunity that is already available to you. Let go of the excuses, and make this the moment you jump into real, effective, purposeful action. Ralph Marston

This is true. Another thing I'll point out is that if you proscrastinate on something, when you finally get around to doing it, you will find that the opportunity is lost. Either the need for you in that particular field or moment has passed, or the offer is no longer there. You need to seize opportunities now or they'll be gone in the future.

Serendipitously I stopped by and caught sight of this post. Love this line "This moment right now is loaded with great value."

If a value is attached to each action taken the more you meditate on the value the more you're tempted to spend it before you have it. :-))

I have a procrastination killer called re-conditioning your mindset. The mind is what will move you to action. You can make it happen with visualization and affirmations, need help? Let me know.
Make yours a sparkling day!

Love the new pic you have up!!

After reading this post, I thought you'd be interested in reading "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle where it deals with the importance of being aware of the present moment. That's all we really have! Just a passing thought---

May you have an active, little-uncomfortable day with no difficult challenges...
(Those are your words....)

Mine: Make it a fantastic one---

You are very enlightened :) Well said...without change there is only stagnation...and there can be no growth...without growth we wither and die... We are the only ones who can sow those seeds of change...no-one else can do this for us...
Thankyou for sharing ....

We can always wonder what if, but, later ah etc being in the moment is a link of taking action. Now, is the time, now is moment as one can never go back and live in yesterday, therefore, do not put off what can be done today as the saying goes as tomorrow may never come.

Hehehe, put your best foot forward and get going, we've gotta move it move it, i.e, take action.

Fear is the greatest procrastinator.

Courage is Action...

I love this. Procrastination is the nemesis of so many people. This is a great new perspective on an age old problem. I will definitely try this one. :)
