Oops we did it again. And by it, I mean played a truly self-indulgent show in our backyard at the Hotel Café while a bunch of our fans and friends watched. I like to watch too, and I'm not talking about rubber necking it on the 101 past an accident. It was a partial BTW reunion including Tilly, Funky Brewster, John O'Reilly?, Loren-go Lamas, and myself. QB and TW are still messin' around with KD. Zoinks it was fun!! Yup, I just used zoinks. Late last night while channel surfing I stopped at one of the Scooby Doo movies for a minute. I never said I wasn't a rubber neck when it comes to a live action version of a childhood cartoon. I couldn't resist seeing Daphne and Velma beyond the one dimension of animation, but something about that is just wrong. So there are many artificial highs made available for public consumption but I challenge you to find anything on this planet that can match the feeling that we have when we're making music together. Ok I can think of maybe one thing that feels pretty good, maybe if we combined the two. Get your mind out of the gutter! I wonder what would happen if I could have the best toro sashimi the sea could offer while playing "Gardenia", I would implode! We played a new song tonight that actually made its debut in Palm Springs late last year. It's a little ditty called "I Don't Know Baby". Man it's cool. First time playing it sans DJ Reggie. We look forward to recording it so everyone can hear. Which reminds me, I need to go bug Tilly about finishing up some new tunes so we can make another record and get back out on the road. Wasn't it John Lennon who said that life is what happens while you're busy on myspace?

Jazz helmet,
Kenny Bloggins

P.S. Big hugs to our devoted fans, friends, and family who came out to support us tonight. I owe you one Nicole!! Or maybe two? Can't remember.

I have to say that it was a really great concert night. Like always an amazing show! I wonder which one are you!? Also, and most importantly, how can we (most like "I") be a part of your antics while you are here in the Los Angeles area. Keep up the good work, and keep on bugging Tilly so that we can hear her new album ASAP. Well, until next time!
P.S. Please post with at least a week of anticipation of any shows so that we can really make it a huge event by helping spread the word! Take care and see you soon.

Omar,

Nothing like a delayed reply, but I think "Kenny Bloggins" is none other than the super-talented Gitarzan Michael Chaves.

P.S. When the heck is everone's friend Tom going to update the rich-text editor. It's been down for a long time. :-)

You know you're a Britney fan when the word "Oops!" makes you think "I did it again!" To paraphrase the old Tilly, I miss the old Britney Spears like candy. However, I'm glad that I've never had to say, "I miss the old Mandy Moore like candy."

I'm looking forward to the next album and the next concert tour. It appears likely that I need to move out of Iowa (currently looking for a new electrical engineering job that has a major emphasis on programming microcontrollers), but I hope your tour takes you to my new city. I hope the next album includes the "Umbrella" remake, the new version of "Candy", and new versions of other old Mandy songs (especially my favorite, "Not Too Young").

The next time you go to Omaha, PLEASE don't eat at McDonalds. Even if you didn't see the movie _Supersize Me_, the fact remains that McDonalds is the same everywhere. Instead, you need to eat at Piccolo Pete's and Gorat's, Warren Buffett's two favorite restaurants.

I am sorry about the large photo of The Hotel Café, It clearly was not my intention to make it that huge, blame it on my new camera to many mega pixels. Mandy if you should happen to read this it is my humble opinion that you should stick to what you love I have seen many performes in my day but none that literally lights up when you sing your own material so you better keep it up, after all if you don’t believe in your music it will be hard for your loyal fans to believe it, after all you wear your heart on your sleeve. Thanks again for the 5-23 performance I feel privileged to have been there.

I love the new song "I don't know baby." I can't be there with some reasons...but I will and always be here in Manila to support Mandy...

By the way, about the new album....I'm excited to hear new songs from you guys...I bet it will be as beautiful like wild hope. I'm looking forward for your comeback in Manila.
