Sure most of you have heard the sad news about Drew Glackin's passing. Ironically, just before I checked my email and heard about it, I was editing some old footage of the Jayhawks/Silos Spain tour and came across some shots of Drew hanging with us backstage. He made us smile a lot on that tour. Later we'd run into each other, usually at the Lakeside Lounge where I had a chance to see him with Tandy. Infrequent chance meetings. In hindsight not enough.
He looked you in the eye. And his talent was as honest, smart and rocking as his smile.
