Vancouver's DAN MANGAN
returns to the UK after touring as support for The Broken Family Band and
silencing a capacity crowd at Brighton's Great Escape Festival earlier this
year. His debut UK single 'Robots' is released on November
16th. Last month, Mangan took home the XM Verge Music Award for “Artist Of The
Year” (a bit like Canada's Radio 1 awarding the Mercury Prize but voted for by
the public).
"This folk singer may
only be 23, but he sings with the soul of Woody Guthrie - if Woody Guthrie had
listened to Godspeed (You Black Emperor)" - NME
"Rather the talk of the
town at the minute... Nice, Nice, Very Nice is a deeply mature and introspective
album... Mature, slow to unravel, and broad in scope, this is a fine, fine, very
fine record indeed." - 78% THE LINE OF BEST
