Well like we told you in the latest blog about Sean’s departure, sometimes good things actually happen to us too, no shit! We were pretty close to proving the concept of karma is a total joke, but as from today we’re total believers in karma and all other hippie crap, especially after the events of this weekend. So we thought we should share some of that good stuff with you.

Basically... we already have a new drummer hell fucking yes it’s Jeroen y’all! And no we don’t mean our bass player changed instruments! We have a totally fresh new Jeroen in the house! Check the new top photo, it’s that guy with the drawn chest hair!

Here’s what happened. Last Wednesday Sean announced he didn’t want to do any shows anymore, despite we agreed he would help us out with shows that were already booked. That’s all we’re gonna say about it but needless to say that decision was a little bit disappointing to us. Anyway, that was the sad part of the story, from now on it’s only getting better and better.

We already were in contact with Jeroen about him auditioning for the drumming job, so we asked him if he could fill in because we didn’t want to cancel any shows. And quess what... he said hell yeah! He did the show in Asten-Heusden last Friday and yes people that means he only had two days to study our songs, but he totally nailed it. On Saturday we had another gig in Den Bosch and like fifteen minutes before showtime we decided we had to ask Jeroen if he would join So Called Celeste permanently. We just felt it would have been an insult to him if we would do any auditions with other drummers after he had already proven himself. So we offered him the job and quess what... he said hell yeah again!

So hereby we officially welcome Jeroen in the band, very glad to have you with us dude and we’re very much looking forward to the future with you as a part of So Called Celeste!
