It has been my top priority for the last 2 years or so, to gather information, any information I could find that would tell me anything about my father Wally Deane. Back in 1986, when he passed away (God Rest his Soul), I promised him that I would tell everyone about his Music and his life and how proud I was to be his son. With the help of the internet and MySpace, the musical world has become alot smaller. I vowed to continue telling as many as I could about my father, the Miami based musician. No one could  begin to imagine Wally landing up smack in the middle of history. Just like dad, smelling like a rose. It was part of his charm. 

I will continue my addiction, loving my father and making sure that his name and music do not become lost in the cracks of musical history. By reading the information on this site and others, it is evident that Wally's Music moved many. His music was a part of history. Music in the 50's underwent a series of changes. Changes to musical history! And changes that would lead to what is known as "Rock & Roll" today. I refuse to lay down my body, while there is a story to be told about the father and great musician I never really knew as a young boy, but also about a father I grew to know and love as a young man. My purpose is to make sure that dad's music and his story are kept alive. Please listen to his music, read his story and remember the man, the musician, and the father. For he is truly one that will NEVER be forgotten. Thanks for reading
