peach,
i miss Max Roach. bless him. didn't even know he was ill. npr is having
a wee festival and i'm here listening, besotted. he was a perfect
drummer. now he's with George in the perfect drummer department in
heaven.
& life goes on for the rest
i saw a band yesterday at the mcclarren pool in Brooklyn that i thought
you'd dig. ghostland observatory. wow! very nice, and the singer man is
a very sexy dancer in very tight pants. check it out. we took louie. he
loved it. we bought him some noise reduction headphones at the gun
shoppe under the strippe clubbe on 20th street. It rained all the way
home and we all got soaked. a fine family day.
the other thing i keep meaning to ask you: have you been watching this
flight of the conchords thing on hbo? only an episode or 2 left, and it
got off to kind of a slow start, couldn't make up my mind, but we hung
in there because mickey p, who does a lot of shivaree stuff, was
producing the music. and i gotta admit, the past few episodes have been
really great--super dark and pretty sick and laugh out loud funny. last
night my friend heather lawless was in it. she's also about the
sickest/funniest person in the world, was kind enough to "interview" me
for a harp article coming out sometime soon. she's a goddess, and we're
trying to talk her into making a record of her own.
what's shakin over there? how's your ma & pa? kiss them for me. then go
listen to the lcd sound system record.
i may be coming out there in September. bbq at mom and dads?
love you,
xo a.

oh woahhhh wowowowowow i am so not in the circle of news its not
even funny, though i did i laugh at myself for not knowing that he
died.
ohh yess ghostland you told me about them earlier and i looked them
and from what i heard i really liked, hopefully the band i was
listening to was actually them and not a different band entirely,
beholding the same name.
uhmmm i definitely reread " we bought him some noise reduction
headphones at the gun shoppe under the strippe clubbe on 20th street"
and it just sunk it after the 4325 time of reading it. on a scale of
one-ten how hard did i laugh..guesss
that louie is a lucky boy of full motherly singing voices, a complete
guide to all the new great bands rising up as he grows and ofcourse,
little richard.
you better watch out for him though, by the looks of the latest baby
pictures ive seen he's gonna be a cute one, and if keep repeating the
same family gathering of purchasing headphones under a stippe clubbe,
the girls are gonna be a'hola'erin.
you know its been about 4352345 years since ive turned on the TV
unless it was used to watch a DVD or something. im working on my
isolation from television and shows that involve crack whore addiction
but i gotta say that "dark, sick and Funny" sound mighty fine, maybe
i'll check it out if they have the season on video or something which
they surely will.
ps- sorry if this is all incredabley scattered brained. my eyes lids
are drooping down about half way farther than theyre supposed to be. i
ended up staying the night at a friends house and woke up tres tres
early so i could enjoy the 20 minutes of the first day of school with
her. even though i'm scared to go to a new school where the only thing
i can say is; "hi i dont know you" going to my old one was relieving in
the sense that i had my closure of knowing that i would never have to
go there again.
yessss BBQ------reprezent. its whats the pam and lyle do best.
