Current mood:  strong
As you know, we've been blacklisted at Reno's Chop Shop.

It's funny, because if you guys know us at all, we have more respect for venues, and for people who give us a chance to play our music than just about anything. Now imagine, for just a second, if someone who could give you a tiny piece of your dream, and little by little, and over time, you could put your dream together with these pieces. Then one day, one of those people who offers a piece you're missing says, sorry, I don't feel like giving it you, and they said it like that but they have no reason. How would you feel?

Well, we're furious, and we're not going down without a fight. These are our dreams, our lives, and our future, and there isn't one person in this world who will ever fuck with us and try to take it away. Not, at least, without a fight.

For those of you who don't know what happened, 6-7 months ago, we played a show at Reno's Chop Shop with a band from L.A. (problem #1). During this show, one of the band members from that band broke my guitar in half. I became furious, got up in his face, demanded money to replace it, or else. Well, of course he wouldn't take responsibility for it, claiming it was an accident and that he shouldn't have to pay for it. So, I took it up with the owner and said, do something about this or there is going to be a large problem in this place. So, the owner went and talked to people then said, Sorry, nothing I can do. Pack up your things and get out, you're causing too many problems here.

How is this fair, you're asking?

It's not. We got fucked. We did nothing wrong, and did our best to deal with it correctly.

Well, I refuse to be walked on and pushed aside, so I waited for that band to finish up the set so that I could talk to the person who did it, outside. But, of course, the band packed up, and jetted back to L.A., thus leaving us without money or a guitar.

If that wasn't enough, we're not allowed to step foot in Reno's, ever again, not that we'd want to (that place is so trashy). Apparently all we did the whole night was, and I quote, "Sit around talking shit, and not buying any drinks at the bar."

Want to know what's funny about that statement?

We brought that place more money off of our fans than that place makes just by being a bar. Sad.

So, anyways, we're doing Bike Night at High Five Cycles again, this coming Thursday. If you didn't come to the last one, it's a blast. It's free. You should come, and bring everyone you know.

Allow me to close with this:
Alan (owner of Reno's), you're scum. You are really the biggest piece of shit I've ever had the unfortunate pleasure of knowing. You're the lowest of the low. You're the filthiest of the bile and grime on the bottom of the shoe of humanity.

May your judgment day be of the most unfortunate.

Right On.
