Hello!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support us at the Loft this weekend. It was a HUGE show and one of the best crowds we have ever played to. We realized that we have some of the most passionate, loving, supportive friends and family in our fanbase. There are no fans like Blackline fans, and we love you all to death for your undying support. Despite the controversy surrounding the event, we commend StiilPoint and Force of Habit for sharing the stage with us and we congratulate Force of Habit on their victory. We debuted two new songs, entitled "The Commons" and "Goldfishes" which were quite warmly received. Thank you to everyone for driving all the way downtown and not giving up after they figured out that the address was misprinted on the ticket and still showing up in the mood to dance and have a good time.
Anyways, we'd also like to announce a benefit show that we will be playing this weekend. Despite our reluctance to play in a church, on November 14, we will be performing at Perimeter Church to benefit victims of human trafficking. It truly is a wonderful cause, and your support and donations are greatly appreciated.
Now for even bigger news - your neighborhood Blackline will be playing their first-ever show at the Masquerade on December 5! We will be sharing the Hell stage with Inward Eye, Nico Vega, and Neon Trees, all of whom are terrific, talented bands and it is guaranteed to be an amazing night. Tickets are $8 in advance and we will begin selling them tomorrow, November 10. The doors open at 7 and we will take the stage at around 8:00. We will be selling tickets to the show on Saturday at the benefit show and by request to anyone who so desires to purchase a ticket. Those who purchase a ticket from us will also have the added luxury of purchasing both of our CDs together at the discounted rate of $5. Also, John will be in Athens November 12-13 attending the Minus the Bear concert and visiting old friends, so if anyone at UGA is interested, hit him up for some tickets!
