Very much so, if only because the words Yankee, dollar, Santa Claus, cookie, coleslaw and snack are derived from the Dutch "Jan Kees", "daalder", "Sinterklaas", "koekje", "koolsla" and "snakken" :)!

But no, the Pennsylvania Dutch are not of Dutch but of German origin..

Who cares? Do we Americans really care about an isolated country in the middle of Europe that is over populated where they trip on acid,, brownies. The government pays the taxi drivers to take mariguana to people . Prostitution is legal and the Japanese are always hanging around the Red District flashing everyone with those Canons and on top of that the Prince married Maxima ..She is Argentinian , ugly and fat. Damn those kids are not going to be like Grace Kelly's that for sure!
To add insult to injury...they have these little bathrooms where you take a dump and have the pleasure of having a starring match with your own shit until you flush it down...Ehhwwwww!!!!!
Like we americans say: Keep on eating tulips cause if it werent for us you would be speaking German right now.
Cordialy,
Fucking USA

Well, I have to say I lived too long in Amsterdam to realize there are some nice people....but what is up with all the bikes...Now we have the Smart car. Well , Amsterdam is a good place to snap pics .....And why do they insist on talking to me in English ..I actually want to learn Dutch. I understand a lot of it because of its Germanic usage of words...Go figure! They are nice people though..The woman are little too masculine for my taste but then I am Cuban and we are beautiful and very femenine...Thanks daddy....for that.

I also love Keukenhof....Love it!..I take thousands of photos there. Tulips are really an Arab import...they were used as currency in the Persian Empire...The tulip is not Dutch ..It is Arab. Hello people read your history..LOL

As for when they are going to do something with those disgusting bathrooms..I do not know..They will have to import a lot of designers and plumbers from the US and Italy to update them.
Love their soccer team...too bad..LOL..that Brazil is superior in futbol or soccer..Viva Socrates!..Viva Pele!..Kudos for the 3 Ronaldos, Bebeto, Ronaldhino and the other guys....A fifthe cahmpionship for Brazil...Yes ...baby!!!

I am sorry to inform you that Rembrant Van Rijn was great at using ciaro/oscuro but ciaro/oscuro is Caravaggio.."the mad man" Once you have seen him, Rembrant has nothing on him..LOl You are speaking to an art major here.

Finally, kudos for eusthanasia, kudos for trying to learn how to dance Salsa even thouh you look like ducks when you dance it...I should know..Salsa is Cuban...Afro-cuban to be exact and I am an expert dancer...You guys probably have not even seen Rueda or Timbao..LOL
I did love Audrey Hepburn nd Mata Hari...Nice girls.
Con todo mi amor a la familia Grepp,
Nina Alexei

Bad spelling can be lethal. For example, the greedy Seriph of Al-Yabi was cursed by a badly-educated deity and for some days everything he touched turned to Glod, which happened to be the name of a small dwarf from a mountain community hundreds of miles away who found himself magically dragged to the kingdom and relentlessly duplicated. Some two thousand Glods later the spell wore off. These days, the people of Al-Yabi are renowned for being remarkably short and bad-tempered.
