Dear, all, some of you may have already heard the news mentioned above. I am recuperating fine, following surgery on my finger (left pinky for those interested - proximal phalanx for the more pedantic of you). I'm more put out by having only one usable hand at the moment and not being able to zip up my jacket.
This has created a small pause in my plans this year, but work still continues and I'm even more eager to push ahead with several projects, including at least two new CDs and even more places to hear and buy them on the web. There's nothing quite so inspiring as seeing the ground race uncontrollably toward your face, to get things moving.
Here are the pictures of the incident where you can see the swelling around the eye and rotation of the broken finger. Perhaps they'd make good xmas cards.
Best wishes to you all. Keep a platypus in the window for me!
--Stephen
