Current mood:  implacable
Category: Life
Here we are, half-way through 2009 and if the if the next half anywhere near resembles the first one, there'll be a lot screaming, kicking and phrases that begin with "buggeringly" coming from my immediate vicinity.

As most of you know by now I was the cruel victim of inertia when a snowboard I was riding on decided to test the principles of rapid deceleration.  A slew of doctors, nurses, physical therapists and ambiguous, greedy bastards known only by their billing departments convened to put me back together again.  And for the most part have.

I seem to have left a bit of of the left side of my brain on the side of that mountain in Connecticut, which might after all have been a worthy loss.  Or perhaps it was just the activity of trying to get my left hand to behave like an extension of myself rather than a mannequin's arm that managed to get stuck on my shoulder as I walked past it, that pumped the right side of my brain into overdrive.  All I know is, platypuses are in their heaven and all's mad in the world, again!

The events of this Winter have of course caused delays and setbacks in terms of getting a new CD out and keeping this and other websites updated.  For that I apologise and the baboons I left in charge to take care of these things have been sacked.  Not fired, mind you, just put into a burlap sack where they're forced to watch Regis Philbin as punishment.

There have been quite a few changes and things going on, and now I've got to sort it all out to tell you.  One thing I'm very excited about is the new easiness by which you can all get my music.  More on that once I've waded through the details and URLs.

I'm also keen to mention to possibility of some new creative collaboration, which will bring some new elements into my next project.  The silver lining in the storm cloud if you will, or the invention born from necessity.  Either way, challenges pave the way for creativity.

And so I burst forth into the second half of 2552 with a song in my heart and a pebble in my shoe!  I am determined to make up for the lost time and will get around to capturing my escaped werewolves when the time comes.

Best to you all!  Be on the lookout for more updates coming to a blog near YOU!  (Or even a Twitter?)

Thank you.  :)  It's nice to be able to type (almost) as fast as I can think again.
