Today we show you how to make a Japanese Famicom game converter for play on US Nintendo entertainment systems.
There are a few old NES game titles that actually have the converter in them like
1942, Clu Clu Land, Donkey Kong Jr.,Duck Hunt, Elevator Action, Excitebike, Golf, Gumshoe, Gyromite, Hogan's Alley, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!, Pinball, Raid on Bungeling Bay, Rygar, Soccer, Stack Up, Tennis, Urban Champion, Wizards and Warriors and Wrecking CrewGyromite is the one we will use in this case, you'll need to know if the one you have has the converter in it
because thats right, not all Gyromite game paks have the converter in it.
First thing you will notice is weight, the converter is heavier and another thing is the sticker label.
Rob the robot has a much darker purple color than the other.

Once you find one that has a converter in it, just open it up, unscrew the converter and remove it from the game pak.

The famicom game will face opposite of the lock out chip thats soldered.

Take the game pake case and cut it down to size so that the converter sticks out
and then you'll want to glue it to the game pak as in this description,
actually the nes game pak is backwords here oops.
when its done drying put it back together and you should have this.

Just pop on a famicom game and put it in your NES top loader or the original NES but you might need to use the game genie
for that.
And now you can enjoy all the games from Japan.
Just be sure to plug in the famicom game pak with the label opposite from the front
of the NES game pak converter,Like this.
