Ok, so here we are...up in AMore Phonics with minimal lights and some candles and some vocals about to be spilled all over the place. We are one song away from being finished and it feels great. It sounds great, and that's why it feels great. I think we're all beginning to see this coming together. Some songs have remained true to a pared-down 2-piece approach and other songs have grown larger than I ever possibly imagined. It's really help me, personally, fathom a perspective as to how are first full length will come together.
With each passing day Kevin has grown more understanding of Corrina's and my cryptic vision of what we want this to sound like. Seeing that it's our first proper release I really want it to help to define what the hell it is we do. DId I mention that before? Maybe. But, hell, it means a lot to us.
...holy shit...Corrina just sang on "I'm gone" and it was unreal. I can't say I've ever been part of a session before with someone with a great voice became a great singer. So much passion. And to know it's the real deal is one of the most gratifying feelins I could ask for as her bandmate. Wow. Good stuff.
Ok, I'll quit talking about some crap you haven't heard yet. Needless to say, we're all very excited.Oh, and Larry, the dog, is my new best friend.
