Currently we have 4 songs for our new record, which has no name and no label as of yet. THis week we begin writing again, which is quite exicting for us busy-but-music-loving folks.
The first order will be to resurrect a song from the cutting room floor and to finally hammer out a few half-written songs that we have had for a while. THen I think we will simply try "jamming" and recording some loose ideas.
I think I will make a goal to describe the songs on here as they come, but we'll wait for the pudding to be made before we describe it's taste.
I will say that it is nice to get back to the idea of getting lost in the world we are creating with the songs instead of boxing up the "sound" that we have made already. It's always difficult for musicians to classify their sound, but for a band that played a fair amount of shows and gained two members, recorded an ep, oh and also have busy jobs, within it's first year...that is strange. Now, though, now it's back to the fun mysterious part.
So, thank you to those of you coming along with us while we change a grow a little.
