We, the PHUNK JUNKEEZ, are finally putting the finishing touches on our new album "THE GREATEST". We've compiled what we think are the best live tracks, taken from a March 2008 performance here in our hometown of PHOENIX, AZ, added some unreleased never heard before music, and some of OUR favorite PHUNK JUNKEEZ tracks to create this 19 song album.

Since the beginning of this band, we have tried to capture on tape what JUNKEE fans worldwide see live...but it never came out right, or to our standards in sound and performance....until one show in March 2008. On that night, we did what we had failed at  numerous times before, and we multi track recorded the performance, hoping again to capture the perfect show. When we all listened back in our the studio two weeks later, we all knew right away from the first blasting guitar chord of that show that we finally caught on tape a seriously balls out, on fire, top fuel PHUNK JUNKEEZ show!!! It was the kind of show where we all felt it just click, like all six of us playin' together as one gigantic machine on stage...and we happened to be recording...FINALLY !!! (If you have ever been in a band you know the feeling we are talking about....like a freight train with 100,000 watts of power crankin behind you and the ground rumblin' with every kick drum hit!) To top this all off.. the hometown PHX crowd was as rowdy and loud as they have ever been in our 18 years of doing shows...way to rep PHOENIX JUNKEEZ, we never doubted you !!

Now that we had bottled the beast we wanted to get it out to you the fans! But we wanted to add even more music. So we dug up tracks that have never been released, or heard before, from the past 18 years and put those on this album. We threw in a couple extra tracks that we, THE JUNKEEZ, have always been our favorites,... and that completed this massive 70 minute...19 track album.
