Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the next JS gig soon....

The last one we did was at fife in bonnie Scotland and was a great gig too, the crowd were as responsive as ever in Scotland and seemed to really enjoy it.
We had a lot of fun that night too with the audience.

We love to have a bit of banter back and forth. The acoustic unplugged gigs at these theatres are great, i really love those ones. It gives me and Carl a chance to do some stuff a little bit different and use the piano and interact a lot more. A much more relaxed atmosphere than other gigs........Hope you liked it too...

Anyway i wanted to firstly apologise for my urgent departure that night as i usually love to hang about chatting to you guys and show how appreciative i am that you came but as you know i had a big bike ride the next day. Infact i had to drive to Southport that night on my lonesome which got me there about 1am and then tried to get some sleep before setting off to ride across the Pennines.

Incase any of you are wondering, and as i mentioned i was doing it i thought i should let you know how it went.....

....Well i made it, from Southport to Hornsea in four days. We covered 238 miles on our bikes in the four days and it was a fantastic experience. It was hard work but in the end overall i thought it was within my limits and i found it relatively manageable, and i never walked once unlike the other two lads who pushed their bikes up nearly all the uphill bits of which there were some incredibly steep inclines......i just couldn't let myself i thought it was cheating in a way!!! I am a very determined person when i want to be...

All in all great fun and im really glad i did it, and ive tried to put a picture up on the site here to show you that im not lying.....i hope it has worked cos i haven't done it before...

Im now thinking of doing a much longer ride and now i know i will not let anyone down i think next time ill do it for Zoe's place, and this time ride from my house to the Alps in France or somewhere else in Europe. I haven't quite decided as yet but ill keep you posted. I want to do it this year.....

Were still looking forward to South Africa at the end of this year and also the Cancer Research shoot which is still to be 100% confirmed but as yet its still on so that means we have to get really buff so that nothing is hanging out where it shouldn't....

Plus there are still some great gigs that we will see you all at and are looking forward to, so I look forward to seeing you all soon, please post back and let me know how you all are doing.....

Thank you to you all

All my love

Andy

Well done! 238 miles in four days, you should be very proud of your achievement. Hope you didn't suffer too much afterwards.

As far as I'm concerned there is no need to apologise for not hanging around for ages that night. I doubt there are many artists who are as generous with their time as you two. I really enjoyed my visit to Scotland and I thought the Fife gig was absoutely amazing, I just adore the 'unplugged' performances. They always have a special atmosphere.

Fingers crossed for the photoshoot  Good luck with South Africa and everything else.  See you soon, can't wait.
