HOUSTON, TX - (October 16, 2008) GoGirlsMusic. com is proud to welcome the 9th annual GoGirlsMusicFest to Houston's renowned Last Concert Cafe on Saturday, November 1, 2008. The show kicks off at 7 PM. Admission is just $5, and all ages are welcome.


"Over the last 9 years, GoGirlsMusicFest has brought some amazing independent artist to the stage," says Madalyn Sklar, Founder and Publisher of GoGirlsMusic. com and promoter for the Houston show. "Our 2008 show is no exception. We're proud to feature Houston artists Celeste Terrell, Robin Kirby, The Snake Charmers, Collective Hallucination, Hidden Agenda, PJ Flowers, Soul Fixx, Spare Parts, 71 Stars, and OSIRUS featured at our show, as well as San Antonio-native Laura Marie. As an added bonus, the first 100 people in the doors will receive a free copy of the highly-anticipated GoGirlsMusicFest '08 CD.

This year, GoGirlsMusicFest is hosting 13 shows across the country. The proceeds from each event will benefit the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). UNOS brings together medicine, science, public policy and technology to facilitate every organ transplant performed in the United States. Every day, UNOS assists transplant doctors, patients, and members of the public by helping to ensure that organs are procured and distributed in a fair and timely manner.
