Regarding some requests of informations about the band "The Gods", way back in the late sixties, please know that Greg played with The Gods but never recorded with them.

Yeah,

The "pretty well girl", listen to me...


Mr. Lake in 1983/october, did receive a calling from Brian Lane/Geffen's manager, and was to invited for Asia'sjoin and in the same moment, Greg said ... Yes!!

Then, Lake did fulfill John Wetton in Asia's Japan Gig/Asia in Asia, and was perfect !!

However ... in january/1984, Lake and Wetton did a deal from a match, with Asia's member agree.



The Asia's line - up will be John Wetton/vocal,bass, Steve Howe, Carl Parlmer, Geoffrey Downes and.. Greg Lake/slide guitar, VOCAL !!


Beieve or not!!

But ... Mike Stone/Asia's manager and Brian Lane, didn't attain for a agreement.

Yep,
I have collected much cds where my friend Ken Hensley have played.

I have The Gods cd GENESIS (plus 4 bonus tracks).

On cds inner sleeve (released 1994) reads:

With a residency at London..s Marquee and a contract with EMI..s Columbia label it looked like The Gods would at last release something but, as Hensley recalls," Just as we were about to start recording we had a falling out with Greg.The main problem was that he was far too talented to be kept in the background".
