Hey WERS Listeners:

WERS Presents the Semel Spotlight with Tom Brosseau and Mieka Pauley, live at the Semel Theatre at Emerson College in Downtown Boston on May 2nd! WERS is putting on this FREE show to kickoff the summer and to thank you, the WERS community, for the support that you provide all year round! The show will be free and open to all!

Tom Brosseau has already been hailed one of the premier lyricists of the 21st century, taking vintage folk sensibility and applying his straightforward North Dakota brand of no-nonsense behavior to the front lines of self-realization and social consciousness. He will be performing songs from his latest album, Cavalier, which you can hear on WERS.

Mieka Pauley is Boston's own rising star who's haunting voice and smoky timbre will leave an everlasting impression on your soul. She will be performing songs from her newest album, Elijah Drop Your Gun, which was recorded in part at the WERS studio!

Also present will be representatives from the upcoming Tri-State Trek; a 270 mile bike ride from Boston to New York geared towards furthering research for ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease.

Come to the Semel Theatre on May 2nd to bask in the free folk goodness that is WERS! Doors are at 7:30 and the show begins at 8pm. Listen to WERS all month to win VIP admittance and an opportunity to meet and greet with Tom Brosseau and Mieka Pauley!
