Current mood:  inquisitive

So I was rummaging through the internet today and saw something that really bothered me. I think there are a number of people in this country that feel betrayed on certain issues...like war(to name one)....and when they search and question to find out answers to the situation the answers that are given are either blatant lies, or just diversions from the question. Politicians like to do that dance where they actually just state the question back in the form of a statement that, to an idiot, sounds like an answer, but really nothing comes forth from it. Why is the scenario in this video even tolerated by the people...PERIOD?

It was a simple question, what was so threatening?...why the unnecessary force? Tasing?!

POLICE BRUTALITY MUST STOP

ABUSE OF AUTHORITY MUST STOP.

The Police are suppose to be OUR force, OUR protection, for OUR service...not a senators power arm when they disapprove of harmless question. If the Skull and Bones Society pose no threat and there is nothing to hide, then just ANSWER the concerned mans question. Put his mind at ease. Instead you throw him out? Tase him? Take him by force, hand cuff him, and TASE HIM?! SENATORS, CONGRESSMEN, PRESIDENTS they all work for US (THE PEOPLE) We ARE there boss. Literally, we pay taxes that pay them. They were set up FOR the people (right?). So WHY is it that the majority of the people i know (especially the youth) don't trust the police? WHY do American citizens have MORE anxiety and stress from our own security force than a terrorist threat we are at WAR for (well ONE war)? Why is OUR designated protection HARMING US when we ask whats going on in OUR OWN GOVERNMENT or what OUR LEADERS BACKGROUNDS ARE? More importantly,

WHY DO WE ALLOW IT TO CONTINUE?

You'll never find the right answers and solutions until you start asking the RIGHT QUESTIONS.....

SO WHY?

yo... i totally agree with your views on this video brother... that was ridiculous and totally unnecessary...

i don't however, understand your side stabs at the war though... the war has nothing to do with this video or the content in his question... people that feel "betrayed" by this war probably don't know much about it... and i'm really really sick of these sideline naysayers... particularly of my own breed (musicians) who condemn the very system that allows them to live the amazing lives that they do. it's not as simple as "war=bad"... no fucking shit... of course war is bad. no one knows that more than we... the ones who actually have been a part of it... but in that... we realize it's necessity and see the bigger picture behind why we as a country, should remain...

hope all is well amigo.

Here's the deal. Freedom of speech is THE best. We all have it. We should all use it. Acting a rude-ass fool, yelling, screaming, refusing to leave, disobeying law enforcement, causing a public disturbance and refusing to grow the fuck up and act like an adult.................no excuse for that. In most other countries this guy would never be heard from again. I bet he's fine and is relishing his freedom of speech once again. Freedom of speech never out trumps the rules.
Never

i agree that our civil rights are being pissed away.

as to the "don't taze me bro" guy, i at first got pretty upset at the way he was treated. After researching it I found that he was a trouble maker. Not the good, informed dissenting, civil disobedience type, but the rich brat that doesn't think he'll ever get in real trouble and wants all the attention type. He was known on campus for being annoying and boisterous. Observe the way he amplifies his volume and movements and assumes he is being arrested as they attempt to remove him. He escalated the situation. The skull and bones question came after he had used his alloted time and he was in the process of hogging the floor. He makes a poor martyr and actually may be counter-productive to anything he might seriously have been trying to put forward; by imprinting the image of his whiney theatrics as the stereotype for young politically active dissenters.
