On Sunday December 10th, at 2:10pm, a very sleepy Logan Zachary McKenzie became the newest member of the Brooks and McKenzie families. He weighed in at a healthy 8lbs10ounces...and boy is he beautiful. Big congrats go out to proud parents Katherine Brooks and her fiancé Josh McKenzie! (We are all so proud of them too)

Needless to say, Katie will be taking a bit of a break from The BS to get used to her role as new Mom. I'll continue to play here and there as part of some new projects, and I hope you'll join me when you can. This Friday, along with Sue Passmore and Kerrie Ough, I'll be making up 1/3rd of The GOOD Lovelies at the Gladstone Art Bar. On Tuesday December 12th, I'll be singing along with Scott Cooper and his band on CIUT 89.5FM.
