Hi Friends,

As some are aware, I have NOT done a second solo album yet. BUT I have produced Anny Celsi's new CD Tangle-Free World. This is as close to an NB solo album as I can get as I co-wrote two songs, play all the drums and percussion, most of the 6&12 string acoustic guitars and sing most of the backing vocals. But people, Anny is the genius here. I am so proud to have been a part of this project from the day I tracked the drums to the title track on Thanksgiving day with the worst case of the flu ever, to last Friday when the masters were sent to Germany for pressing. Now we are booking our UK promotional tour and it is going swimmingly! Read below some details about the recordings on Anny's myspace and GO LISTEN!!!!

Love, Nelson Bragg

Heeeeeeer's ANNY!!!

"Songs Posted from My New CD!"

The new CD "Tangle-Free World" is finally mixed & mastered and on a boat to Germany to be pressed up by Taxim. This project was begun on Thanksgiving of 2006 and has been a long and joyous process of music making and discovery.

I've posted two songs from the disc on my page - the title song, "Tangle-Free World," and "The Night She Learned to Drive." They represent the wide spectrum the songs cover, from full-on psychedelic pop madness to intimate roots-rock. In the sixties and seventies, you might have heard The Zombies on the radio next to Laura Nyro followed by Glenn Campbell. Why not?

"Tangle-Free World" features cameos from some of my dear friends and amazing musicians -- Nelson Bragg, Carl Byron, Phil Parlapiano, Adam Marsland, Evie Sands, Teresa Cowles, Jonny DuFresne, Rick Gallego, Robbie Rist...and you'll hear my young son Ivan in there doing his best Hugh Masakela, at both 13 and 16 years of age. I'm extremely proud of this track, which was produced by Nelson and Phil.

"The Night She Learned to Drive" is a song I wrote based on a long road trip I took with Ivan many years ago. You'll hear much more intimate production. which allows the story to shine through. Again, major contributions from Nelson, Carl and Jonny, and that's Ivan singing with me on the choruses.

This album has been a labor of love and I hope you'll give these songs a listen. More to come....

thanks
Anny
