Current mood:  nauseated
A few days ago, Carlos Santana said: "Nowadays there are plumbers and electricians that make music becuase they know how to use a computer. Many self-proclaimed musicians don't know how to properly play an instrument".

Here's what I think:
1. Let's ask Beethoven what he thinks of the electric guitar.

2. Santana is playing bland, boring music to suite the taste of the mass market. He's playing the same licks for thirty years, possibly picks up the phone the wrong way. He's talking about things he clearly doesn't know anything about.
