Well, the time has finally come. SIGHT LINES, our first full length album has been officially unleashed on the world. We have tried to make the songs available in every imaginable way. You can download songs from our website or our Myspace page, find us on iTunes, Amazon.com, and any day now you will be able to dig us up on Rhapsody, Bestbuy.com and many others. You can purchase the hard copy (does anybody still do that?) at CDbaby.com or better yet, come to a show and let us hand it to you in person (John enjoys watching people fight with the plastic wrap).
If you were to include the writing process, this album was years in the making. It took almost 12 months from the time we started actually recording to the time it came off the presses. But the good news is that it was well worth it. The band chose platinum producer Scott Spelbring (Jason Mraz, SR-71, Plunge, and The Speaks) of Dragonfly Studios to put his magic touch on the record. The album was then sent up to Mastersuite in ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />New Hampshire to multi-Grammy winner Jay Frigoletto (Alice in Chains, Oasis, INXS, etc) for mastering. The finished product was everything we hoped for and more.
I can't even begin to express how thankful I am, how happy I am, and how excited I am about Sight Lines. Although I can't speak for John and Mike, I know personally, I've never put more energy into anything in my entire life. It was exhausting. But I never lost sight (no pun intended) of the final goal. Throughout the process, I could always hear in my head how amazing the finished product could be. And that it is.
Please feel free to listen and download the tracks and give us some feedback. As I always say, praise and criticism are equally welcome.
Cheers,
~Dan
