Wow, I just realized how long it has been since I actually wrote a new blog. Sorry about that! I can assure you, that sometime soon there will be a nice long blog with all the usual blabery and run-on sentences that you have come to expect from me. But for now, I just wanted to let you in on a bit of good news – I have decided to transition out of my “day job” and pursue music full time in the beginning portion of 2010. Have no fear, Knockout Mouse will still be rocking your local watering hole as much as always. It’s just that I will be playing many (MANY) more solo acoustic shows between the band gigs. Deciding to leave my day job was an unbelievably difficult decision to make. But I’m extremely excited to do music full time come 2010.
I’m currently gearing up for the transition, which includes playing a lot of solo gigs in the area. The few I have already done have been lots of fun, and I look forward to honing my act and adding lots of crowd pleasing covers to the set lists. So check out our calendar for all the new “Dan Solo” shows added. I am also busy working on Danfisk.com, twitter, last.fm, facebook, a solo myspace page, etc… I’ll definitely let you all know when they are ready for viewing! Thank you all who have called and emailed this past week to wish me good luck – I appreciate all of your support and look forward to the next chapter of my musical life!
