We had lots of fun at Emo's last night! Pumping the sound through the big board made my job easy and the music sound great. Thanks firstly to Dana and Bill (Phil? my ears are still bleeding) for making everything work on stage and in the booth. Singin'-wise...it was two short sets, but y'all made 'em count! The birthday boy rocked "Academy Fight Song" to kick it all off, then came back with a few duets before we loaded out. Elliot was up three times, and I can't say whether I liked "3rd Planet" or "The Rat" better...fantastic both times. Edie kicked off a lil' dancing with Boys Don't Cry, and then some of the punks came off the bench. Danny sang Straightedge and Gimme Gimme Gimme, then joined Brian in accompanying me on Louie Louie, and Danny stayed up there for I Wanna Be Sedated. Jenny was our first newbie of the evening, kickstarting Where Is My Mind? and generally glamming it up. Matt from Bring Back The Guns slayed Prayer To God...that song should be sung every show. Here's where I start to forget all the singers...but I know Evan (not Evan II) rocked Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, Krudrock was up with Waiting Room and ...Sedated, and Lauren and Brian did Worked Up So Sexual right, with some help from friends. Great show, and we really enjoyed Bring Back The Guns' set. Unfortunately, I was having some nasty buzzing in my ears by the time America Is Waiting played, and we had to leave not long after they started. Good meeting a bunch of new people, and hope we see lots of ya at Headhunters tomorrow night...NO COVER, we sing ALL NIGHT! k+h the ku
