Hi friends.
So somewhere around New York and Philly I managed to tear the muscle in the bottom of my right foot. We were able to find a podiatrist in Philly who politely asked me to get off of my foot for two weeks. Something called Plantar Fuscitis. Or however you spell it. So, I decided to go home to Cincinnati after our Pittsburgh show. Anyone in Chicago, Minneapolis who went and I wasn't there or anyone on the West coast who is planning to come, please do anyway. You won't be disappointed with Ben Sollee. He's a force to be reckoned with. I am really sorry that I couldn't finish the tour.
If you happen to be attending the Over the Rhine 20th year anniversary shows in Cincinnati you can catch me singing back up with my girly Karin. I'm excited to be back on the stage with her again. And Julie Lee will make three so we're hoping to create a little vocal heaven. I love singing with people more than anything so I'm super excited to get the chance to do these shows.
In the new year i'll be doing a handful of shows with Chris Pureka. I played after Chris at the CMJ Marathon in New York this year so i'm really looking forward to hearing her again. Really beautiful work.
If you haven't gotten a copy of the new EP then what the hell are you waiting for. We do have hard copies available but you can only find them at the live shows right now. Grab the digital online through I-tunes or through my own website at www.kim-taylor.net
Here's to my getting a healthy foot again real soon.
Thanks as always for listening and supporting my music.
Love. kt
