wow.  two weeks in the great lakes/east coast regions of the u.s. threw us everywhere from packed houses in the best-sounding rooms we've ever played (in chicago & boston, respectively) to engaging in painful circus hijinks with another touring act (in columbus, OH) to "winning over" folks in philly & nyc's lower east side, strolling thru the bombed-burbs of detroit, & culminating in an extremely dirty & sweaty basement in oberlin, OH filled with ravenous students. 
we were able to play with other san francisco bands--comets on fire, didi mau, & birdmonster.  we were able to experience the genius of lichens, full grown spiders, the pope of yes & abraham lincoln brigade first-hand, among many great bands.
we experienced love in hospitality in many of the cities.  thank you to everyone that helped us out.  in case you were wondering, we managed to make just enough at the shows to cover gas, tolls, & a couple motels (we only had to sleep in the truck twice).
we have hours & hours of video footage that you might be able to enjoy if we can find someone to edit it all.  chris is also working on a personal tour diary that he will post as a blog once finished.
we can't wait to return to san francisco to our friends & admirers (& of course, our missing appendage, olivia, who could not attend the tour) & blow up the make-out room in october.
