Yo! I am excited to say that one of my songs is being included in the Emerge Volume 4 compilation CD which will be released at the end of August, 2009! They say that this year's CD is their best and most diverse CD ever and includes outstanding emerging bands in the pop, rock, and folk genres. The CD includes bands from the Washington, DC metro area as well as bands from Chicago, Nashville, Las Vegas, New York, Colorado, London (that's me!) and beyond!
You may remember that last year one of my tracks (I’m So Happy) was chosen to appear on the Emerge, Vol 3 - that was distributed to American college students. Well this year the organiser, Ira Miller, has once again chosen one of my songs for Volume 4 – this time : Dirty Little Word!
As before, this CD will be distributed to students who attend end of summer youth leadership conferences and other back to school events in as many as 1,000 American high schools and colleges in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. (Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina and Washington, DC), as well as other selected parts of America.
