*Shadowy, the brand new compilation zine from SF's Use Your Words Press.
Shadowy is a zine and cd containing work from 30+ contributors
on the subject of ghosts and imaginary friends. This project
spans 6 countries and hundreds of years. Comes with an
amazing 13 track cd with the likes of Yes Please, Leah Cipolla,
June Madrona, Tapestry and more. $7 postage paid, through the
po box (2645 olympia, wa 98507) or through Alexis Wolf 20
Apollo St. San Fran, Ca. 94124.
*For those in the Olympia area… the new zine collection at the
Olympia Timberland Library now carries a good chunk of the SSO
(and distro friends) collection. Kelsey Smith put together a
truly fine assortment of zines on limited funds, so give it
props and take a date to the library to hang out reading zines
for a day.
*SSO's Ariel Birks and Joshua Amberson both have pieces in
Friends of Polly, a new zine out of England about polyamory.
It's a pretty rad zine and is cheap, $3 covers zine and postage.
If you send yr address to friendsofpolly@googlemail.com and p
aypal the money to humey_saeed@hotmail.com then one will come
in yr mailbox shortly. If you don't have paypal, you could
just send $3 to the po box, we have a couple extra copies.
*Apple Shadows, the latest poetry book by Cole Cunningham is
going into its second printing. We still have a couple copies
of the first printing and they can be acquired by sending $4
to the po box.
*ALSO! SSO will be distro-ing at this year's Portland Zine
Symposium (August 24th and 25th), sharing a table with Use Your
Words and XYZ Animal Stars. We will be acting as a distro for
some great PNW zinesters and all three publishing companies
should have new books out by then. This will be fun! Come hang
with us and see what kind of surprises we bring along.

Geez, for being a mostly-defunct publishing company, we sure
have a lot of fun new projects… Until more news comes ? SSO.
