Hello, everyone!

As I'm typing this I am 36,000 feet in the air. I'm coming back from my Spring Break trip to Florida. It was amazing and awesome to have a chance to kick back and unwind.
I went with my mom, dad, and friend, Gabi. I met this dolphin that actually comes up to the boats and smiles at the people. You can never make enough new friends. I think I'm somewhere over Texas now and then there's a layover in Vegas, so I'll probably be home in three hours or so. We had to put my best four-legged friend, Barkley, up in a kennel while we were gone. I hope he's made some friends. I can't wait to see him!
Last night, we went to a restaurant that had an open mic and I was a featured singer. It was a blast! I even got to do the electric slide with the locals and the person in charge gave me his shark tooth necklace!
The beaches were so warm, too! The pool was a dream. I'd recommend the Gulf to anyone and everyone.
There's this incredible shop that sells 50's and 60's nick knacks of all kinds. It was the coolest place. So, of course, being the massive Beatles fan that I am, I bought two lunch boxes, a Yellow Submarine notepad, and a funky little purse. There sure is nothing like the Beatles. What are your favorite songs of theirs? Just watched Hard Day's Night for the first time and loved it!
As soon as I set foot on familiar ground, I'm getting right to work on the new CD. I'm sooooo excited and I can't wait for you to hear it! It's definitely different from the last CD, but still me. I'm loving the new direction and most importantly, having fun.
I hope all is grand with you! It's so nice to finally have a thawing-out from the cold wintertime, eh? Stay well and thanks again for being so cool.

Sara

Be IT E V E R so humble ....
There's still no place like it...
Welcome home!!!!
I played my first open stage last night since I jammed over at Goodstock2007 back in July!!!!
It took so long to get to me I got a lil more loaded than expected and got to use a brand new Martin acoustic for "Eve of Destruction" and Donovan's "Catch The Wind" then got electric with a beautiful red Fender Stratocaster and jammed with a bass player, keyboards and drums. I ended up being the lead and had people tell me that I sounded like Neil Young on lead. I love his rawness and The Beatles as much as you do....Missed seeing them cause when they were here in Pittsburgh I was like 13 & 14. ALMOST got to go to Cleveland to see them then but wasn't allowed. Wish I'd have run away withe the 3 sisters and seen them. Hey, I could've got The Beatles to (shall we say) "warm" them up and maybe got lucky! HAH! But I played "Sunshine of Your Love" Cream's classic, then "I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night" by Electric Prunes into my original "It's A Nightmare" which got wiped off my myspace Home page when I added Marty Scorcese's Rolling Stones thingy...or you would/could hear this rough cut of the song. We also did "I Got A Line On You" by Spirit and "Hootchie Kootchie Man" A Who medley "Underture" "Pinball Wizard" & "See Me, Feel Me" which I fell apart in and ended abruptly when I screwed up a chord and got lost. I was a lil buzzed by the time two and a half hours passed and a few beers. I actually got into this conversation with this wild, incredible nurse who had ADHD and kind of fogot I was playing! (It's been so long!) Anyway, outside of the last part of the Who,...well, T'was fun! Glad you had a good time and just wonder IF you and I were possibly" singing together at the same time? I played like 12:15am.
Take care Glad we both had FUN!!!!
