getting your music "OUT THERE"

there is more than one way to get your music "out there"

the method you choose will be entirely up to you

if you don't sing and/or play an instrument with studio quality, you can write songs with big name artists in mind, try to find "demo singers and instrumentalists" and then take that recording and try to find a publisher who will get that song into the right hands in order to make this dream manifest.

in order for this to happen, you must write to appease the 

 "song police"

if you decide you are up to that task, by all means, have at it and good luck !

if you are a "self contained artist" and you write to please yourself, you may see little need to write for another artist.

you can simply record your stuff,  and maybe try pitching it to the "song police"

if your music don't make it past the "song police" then you may wanna consider doing an independant release through    cdbaby.com and / or myspace.com

no matter what you do, better make sure you know your way around a COPYRIGHT SR form and protect your work before ever presenting it to anyone, or you could open yourself up to having your music stolen
