Punch Brothers have parted ways with bass player Greg Garrison. Greg, who wrote and performed on the band's debut album "Punch" as well as played on Chris Thile's solo release "How To Grow a Woman From The Ground", toured extensively with the band in support of both albums. The band wishes Greg all the best as he begins his next chapter. Filling Greg's tremendously large musical shoes is Paul Kowert. Paul, hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, and who studied at The Curtis Institute of Music, begins touring with Punch Brothers this November. The band is proud and excited to welcome him to the band.

I saw you guys in Greenville SC with the new bass player. Although he was reading sheet music and it was only his 3rd show. He was on point every time! Amazing performance from an amazing outfit of musicians!!!! Kind vibes, :o)
