How do players from the New York Yankees celebrate a big win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim? They go to see Our Lady Peace rock the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA.
Yesterday afternoon, Our Lady Peace bassist Duncan Coutts and drummer Jeremy Taggart attended the Yankees/Angels American League Championship Series baseball game at Angel Stadium, minutes away from the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA where the band was performing that night.
Once the game was over, Coutts and Taggart, soon followed by Yankee left-fielder Johnny Damon and pitcher Chad Guarin, traveled to the House of Blues for the show and a get together with the band backstage after the show. “Nobody ties a room together like Johnny Damon,” says Taggart. “Always a pleasure to hang with him. He's the modern Mickey Mantle!
