Ekler'o'shock is proud to announce the signing of french producer Danger. You may ask us why, how, when, why not this or that artist. Danger is a young artist but whose experience in producing music is not so young. 7 years the 23 year-old boy has been manipulating machines, programming beats, playing various styles of music, whether it be chiptunes, punk or techno. What immediatly caught me is Danger's ability to make you feel strong emotions. This guy is simply able to make you feel scared to death, happy as if it was the victory of your life, sad as if you had lost wife and children. This is about emotions. His music has a meaning, it's both personnal and universal. We do strongly believe Danger is not just one more "nu-disco" act from the french scene. He's a true composer, he's got his own universe, he's humble. And he's got talent. His first EP will be released by the end of October.
For those who read french, here below is Danger's answer by email to questions I first asked him.
"Bonjour et merci pour ta réponse super rapide. Je réponds à tes questions : j'ai déjà eu 2/3 propositions de labels d'électro, je réalise moi-même mes artworks, j'ai 23 ans, je suis graphiste-illustrateur, pour mon album ou Ep je pense rester dans l'univers que tu peux cotoyer sur http://www.myspace.com/2emedanger, mon but, vraiment plus que de ressortir des vieux sons de synthé pour le délire, c'est de faire ressentir des sensations du genre celle qui nous accompagne quand on joue à un jeu vidéo ou quand on regarde un film U.S, : la peur, la mort, la gloire, le pouvoir, le courage, les miracles... c'est des trucs auquels on croit fermement et qu'on ne critique jamais, et elles sont donc vraiment puissantes car pour ma part c'est mon enfance, c'est aujourd'hui, j'en ai besoin et j'espère en faire profiter d'autre personnes si je peux. Je considère l'image au même titre que la musique, j'ai vraiment besoin de construire un univers, une structure, non fermé(e) mais à chaque fois bien définie.. Bonne soirée"
