When I went to the supermarket and got the Lindt Chili Bar, I also got the

Lindt: 60% Extra Dark Truffles. Still aprehensive for all the years of lousy chocolate that I have had in my life, and in part because of the Chocolatier game I decided to try this truffles also. I am pleased to announce that Lindt proved me wrong again. With a nice chocolatey smell, the shell was smooth and perfectly round. The filing was creamy and inviting to the touch and taste.

I truly believe that I can have one every day. (Even tho one portion is 3 truffles, and it's hard to just eat only one, but I have done it.) It is perfect when you get out of a hard day of work, lousy traffic, you open the door, go for that blue package, indulge in one of those about a quarter sized truffles, perhaps then you'll want to close the door.

I don't recommend them chilled. The whole truffle becomes hard, making a bite difficult. You won't be able to smell it either, wich is one of the many parts of tasting. The deliciousness of this chocolate piece is the pleasant sound of the shell when it's broken into to get to the creamy filing. No worries, it won't melt in your fingers as quickly like other chocolates. My vote is for room temperature. No milk to accompny it, your shoes off would be enough.

Price: $2.19 (I'll say it again, Thank God for sales.)

Can I pronounce the list of ingredients on the back?: Yes

Now I am tempted to go to the Lindt store at the mall. I would love to buy again the chili bars, these truffles and also to see if they have available the single origin chocolate bars that are expected to be a trend for 2007-2008.
