Current mood:  loved

A big thank you to all the people that came out to support "Neville's Diary" at Wrock Chicago.  I loved seeing all those faces out there.  And big thanks to those of you that saw me perform in all of my sets I played.

Special thanks to Jarrod of "Gred & Forge" for letting me play drums for his set.  I never really get to perform the drums, and I had a blast.  I don't think I've ever moved around that much behind a drum kit before.

Well, I am continually shocked by all the support "Neville's Diary" gets considering that I never tour and barely get a chance to play any shows.  I made a limited amount of CDs for this event, because I just figured people would never want to actually buy a copy since everything is basically up for download at some point or other.  In a surprising happening, all my CDs were sold out before I even went on stage (giddy as a school girl).  "Wow" is all I can say.  So all of you that bought a copy are required to burn copies of those CDs for as many people as possible.  Spread the Neville love.

Finally, I am absolutely overwhelmed by the friends I made this week.  This is the most fun I've had at a con before, and it has nothing to do with how awesome the performances were (even though they were epic), and it certainly has nothing to do with the partying considering I did not attend a single party.  I'm not going to name any names because I will forget someone, and they will be offended, but just know I enjoyed myself immensely and I have made some incredible friendships on this trip (I know it sounds cliche, but it is true).  I am sad that it will be a long time I get to see all my friends again.

Thank you again, and don't forget to put on your dancin' shoes.

Hey bro,

It's always an honor working with you on creative projects and I love seeing you be able to do what you love best, playing music. Seeing you so happy and supported this weekend made me really happy too and I was as proud as ever to be your friend. Wrock on, buddy! :)

I must agree with Tim on this one - watching you come alive on stage was simply beautiful! You are ridiculously fabulous and talented. Next time, though, The Pimping Hat really must do the "can't stop the D.A." echo.

So glad you had loads of fun! I actually had more fun after you left, but mostly because people kept coming up to me and going, "You know Bryce? God, I love Bryce. I miss him. Bryce is awesome and adorable. Don't know your name though." hehe. Totally kicked it with your crew and they were a blast!

Love to the Bryce Cream! See you Wednesday!

Speaking of adorable, I just saw a video of a baby red panda.

Anyway, I'm sure you are exaggerating about all those false (but totally flattering) things people were saying about me. The pimping hat will definitely make an appearance, but only if you're there to puppeteer it!!!

Thanks so much. Your set was great! You have some really catchy songs. And the guitar really helps pound out that energetic rhythm. I'm glad I got to watch you guys.

I am so happy that I was there to witness the awesomeness that was the Neville's Diary set. You looked like you were having almost as much as I was. :)

Seriously, though-- fantastic job. I can't wait to see you perform again.

Oh, I am an idiot. It was supposed to say, "almost as much FUN as I was."

I obviously have not recovered from this week yet!

I was having fun, but that's only because the crowd was so enjoyable. If the crowd were full of irrate IRS agents, believe me, not as much fun. But you all really were what was feeding my excitement.

I probably don't have to say how much I loved the ND set... cause you know it already.

However, I didn't get a chance to tell you how much ass you kicked with Jarrod. Honestly, you did a fantastic job. That set was totally wrocking and I loved it and you were a big part of that. The reggie's performances were a blast too.

Friends are the best part of cons. I too came away closer to certain people than I ever thought possible. All of my best moments have to do with my friends - not at parties but moments that were significant for me or significant for them and I was able to be a part of it. Friends are what this is all about, right? For me the music has become the soundtrack to my moments with my friends.

I'm so glad you had a great time. :)

Thanks, Jen. I know exactly what you mean about what are the best parts of the cons.

And thanks about the Gred & Forge set. I had lots of fun!!!!!!

Oh man this seriously was an awesome time, you could just tell anytime you were on stage, you were having the time of your life. Pretty much everytime you were on stage you totally wrocked it. I think the only thing that was missing was another hallway jam session.

EPIC FAIL!

Why am I always the last one to comment on these. I never check my myspace anymore ever since you got a Facebook. So im lame and will be the last one again to comment.

Anyways.

Your set was so awesome! It was amazing!! Outstanding! I wish I could relive that moment forever!! I loved getting to hang out wit you all weekend. It totally stinks that you couldn't stay longer, but next time we will tie you to a chair if we must to keep you there!

Oh and BTW i'm "Bryce's BFF" in the facebook fan group. I love you!

Awwww, poor Stephanie. I just want to give you a hug right now.

I'm already looking ahead to some other conventions, and unfortunately it looks like I might have to leave one of them early (super lame). So you may have to resort to tieing me to a chair.

And I just saw the "Bryce's BFF" on facebook a couple days ago. I think that is freakin' fantastic. That has got to be the best position in that crazy fangroup.

Yes, it was a great set! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hope to see you play again somewhere soon.

(I was the guy that introduced myself as another teacher, but elementary)

I definitely remember you. After Wrock Chicago I've been having lots of people contact me and tell me they are either teachers or going into teaching. I think that concert was such a great advocacy kind of thing for our profession. "Teachers can be cool too."
