i help people at work , navigate the system .

I don't play an instrument...
notes and chords have never
made any sense to me.
i just write songs about people. then i sing it out loud,
until john says ,"okay, i got it".
 then he takes over and i just sit back ,
and watch as he taps out a drum beat,
 then guitar , basss, the works.
then i cut him a check for one hundred dollars,
 and he hands me my finished CD.
So one day,

my friend , whom i record with . said
* '' bob , the way you sing these songs,
they always sound like Woody Guthrie songs,
but then you tell me, that you want,
a rock feel, to the songs!
which gives me a lot of freedom.'' *

So I told him,
he's got total freedom!!!
We rock out!
it's the most fun i have all week!

I STARTED WRITING SONGS,
late in life,

after most people my age,
 have long since
left the music scene. . . . .

Wakefield hospital,
and then three and a half months,
in this rehabilitation hospital . . .,
then i slept in my living room ,
till i got strong enough to climb the stairs!

songwriter!
I don't play an instrument , I'm in my 40's!
so I don't realy see a path anywhere, but I
am having the best time of my life, writing ,
demoing, and recording these songs.
now, I still don't see a path anywhere ! but
I've taken the first step!
I was writing them, for a while now I've
posted my songs on the web
and i'm trying to put together a road
map

years ago , my friend J. K. ......... ,

talked to me ,
about his situation, as a teacher,
 and respecting his privacy
. He wants me to take m
y songs as far as I can take them,
but for his privacy , to be
respected.‘’ so I have. . The only exception I made was ,
mentioning his name , on my myspace page. So the
other day , he emailed me this letter.
(…) . . ., that
again asked me not to mention
his name. so i
apologized, and I wont mention
his name again

Musically, he’s a genious.
Put a guitar in his hands ,
and he’s gifted! A little uptight tho.

He dosen’t let his own music out ,
because it’s never technically perfect. he’s told me,
that as long as I don’t mention
his name He doesn’t care
what I do with the songs
I record with him,
I think because
he see’s a difference ,
between his own songs
and the ones I bring in.
