on sept 1st 2009, .
after driving a bus for over 30 years ,
  . I retired from the MBTA  . . .
 Now I look out my front door and I feel ‘lost!‘ . . .
 . .so I’ve decided to throw myself . . 
into promoting my songs. . .
The first step . .  is putting together
 a road map. . .
 Which is what I am now doing  . . . .

Hi my name is bob shea. . . . I am a songwriter.
i don't play an instrument . . i go to a 'one stop demo's shop
 in boston ma. I'll  bring in   a song, then john says,
''okay, lets hear what you got...'''
so  i sing it out loud,
until john says ,"okay, i got it".
 then he takes over and i just sit back ,
and watch as he taps out a drum beat,
 then guitar , basss, the works.
then i cut him a check for one hundred dollars,
 and he hands me my finished CD.

. so one day,
my friend , whom i record with . said
* '' bob , the way you sing these songs,
they always sound like Woody Guthrie songs,
but then you tell me, that you want,
a rock feel, to the songs!
which gives me a lot of freedom.'' *

So I told him,
he's got total freedom!!!
We rock out!
it's the most fun i have all week!
