MISSION STATEMENT:
There are not many things in this world that you can say are truly "new". AREA51RECORDS' philosophy is a thing that is new. It is revolutionary. Our plan is to sign great Artists and give the music away. You can have it. The Label is not genre specific, it is quality based. All musical styles are welcome. How many times have you bought a $16 CD because you liked the single. When you listened to the album... it sucked. The whole thing sucked, and when you saw the band in concert... they also sucked. AREA51RECORDS does not suck. If we do suck... then you lost a key stroke, not your hard earned money. In other words you don't pay a dime to hear our Artists, their singles, and often, have the opportunity to meet them. You will be much more apt to buy a ticket to a show to see our Artists when you realize you love them... truly love them. Music is a manipulation of space and air and it is our goal to move that forward and not follow a trend, sound, a flavor of the moment (for God's sake look at Emo). It is our desire to change the way music is heard, delivered, and most importantly felt. The talented Independent Artists will finally have a chance to reach a mass audience. This label will include a state of the art online record store, and while there are thousands of online radio stations, this one will be completely different. AREA51RECORDS will be the most Fan Friendly, Interactive Record Label ever to exist. From pod-casts between Fans and Artists, to contests and live shows, to even allowing the fans to pick the Artists' next single. This single, if chosen by you, the Fans, must not suck!
