I just got back from taking a bunch of teenagers to see Jackson’s THIS IS IT.  It was so good, I was not the only one who left with moist eyes.  This was not just a concert they were preparing for – in true Jackson style, this was going to be an EPIC multi-media inhanced performance the likes of which had never been seen before. 

Some of the most spectacular footage was a series of clips as we witness behind the scenes magic of making Jackson appear to co-star with Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney and Rita Hayworth in the 1946 B&W gangster classic ‘Gilda’ which would serve as a segue into ‘Smooth Criminal’.

More movie magic surrounded ‘Thriller’ as well as a moving message in his  ‘Earth Song’.

I know that the tragedy and timing of his death will make him even more legendary, but to see him in action throughout the preparation for these shows, one can’t help but wonder if this could have been a whole new beginning for this limitless talent rather than a tragic end.
